Quality Policy
‘To establish and review quality objectives, by setting targets, which enable the organisation to meet the surface finishing requirements of its customers.  Also to provide a service that exceeds their needs and expectations, through commitment and understanding, with continual improvement in all its activities

Quality Commitment
AEP applies rigorous quality control procedures throughout the company and is registered with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certification, (certificate number: 9591) by National Quality Assurance Limited (NQA). All surface finishes are produced to meet the requirements etc. etc., etc.,

Environmental Policy
‘Electroplating and chemical processing performed at AEP (Chippenham) Ltd could impact on the environment and therefore the Organization is committed to improving its performance within its range of operations by implementing the following policy:

  • This policy will be communicated to all employees and made publicly available.
  • To reduce the impact on the environment, it is necessary for all individuals to be responsible and accountable for their actions. AEP (Chippenham) Ltd will, by the provision of appropriate training and information, raise the awareness of employees, suppliers and customers.
  • Environmental factors will be integrated into business decisions by introducing and maintaining an effective environmental management system and by understanding the implications of current and future activities.
  • To aid continuous improvement of environmental performance, AEP (Chippenham) Ltd will undertake regular audits of its operations. This enables the setting of objectives and targets, together with an action plan to demonstrate how they will be achieved.
  • AEP (Chippenham) Ltd regards the efficient use of energy and materials as paramount and will endeavour to improve the efficiency of their use. Renewable and recyclable resources will be used whenever possible.
  • The production of waste, emissions and discharges will be minimised, with the aim of preventing pollution, and managed in a way that has least impact on the environment.
  • AEP (Chippenham) Ltd will comply with applicable legislation and codes of practice and view the requirements as the minimum while seeking to improve performance beyond the set levels’.

Environmental Commitment
Metal Finishing involves the use of extremely dangerous chemicals which could damage the environment.  To meet the requirements of legislation AEP is registered with BS EN ISO 14001:2004 certification (certificate number: E818) by National Quality Assurance (NQA).

Chemical waste is treated to remove all toxic materials before disposal by an approved agency. Treatment is achieved by the use of the latest technology in water treatment and by recirculation to reduce consumption.
